Custom ceramic mugs, made to your specification.

Ceramic is where most mug ranges start and where most of them are won or lost. We develop the body, the shape and the mark with you, then hold that specification run after run, so the mug in store next year matches the one you signed off this year.

Three bodies, chosen for how the mug will be used

Stoneware

Heavier and warmer in tone, lightly speckled through the clay. Hard-wearing in daily service, and the body most coffee groups choose for a house mug.

Porcelain

Fine, bright white and translucent. The premium body, and the cleanest ground for a full colour mark or a crisp brand colour.

New bone

Light and strong with a soft white finish. Useful where the piece has to feel refined in the hand without adding weight to a tray.

Stock shape, adapted shape or your own mould

Stock shapes

Our existing shapes decorated for your brand. The fastest route to production, with no tooling to develop.

Adapted shapes

An existing shape modified: handle, capacity, foot or rim. A middle path when the catalogue is close but not right.

Custom moulds

A new shape developed to your own design and tooled from scratch, so nobody else is selling the same piece.

Ways to put your mark on the piece

Decal in-glaze

Fired into the glaze, slightly softer in tone and made for commercial washing. The usual choice for a house mug that lives in a dishwasher.

Decal on-glaze

Full colour artwork applied over the glaze, at its brightest and most saturated. Best where colour accuracy matters most.

Digital printing

Photographic detail and fine gradients, suited to short seasonal runs and illustrated artwork.

Embossed

Raised detail moulded into the piece, in the same glaze as the body, so the mark reads as texture rather than colour.

Debossed

Detail pressed into the surface and read through light and shadow. Quiet, and it cannot wear off.

Glaze work

Colour glaze matched to your brand, reactive glazes that move in the kiln, two-tone splits, speckle and raw unglazed bands.

Built to survive service, not a photograph

A ceramic mug that works behind a counter has a vitrified body, so it is non-porous and will not stain, absorb odours or take on water. That is what keeps a white interior white after a year of espresso, and it is the difference between a mug you keep in rotation and one you quietly replace.

Ceramic and glass pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. We choose the marking method around how the piece will be washed rather than how it photographs, which is why in-glaze decals and glaze work carry most of our hospitality ranges.

Made at production scale, quoted to your destination

We work at production scale rather than one-off printing. Custom designs typically start around 3 000 units per design, which suits a group roll-out or a retail line rather than a single site.

Our office is in South Africa and we produce with specialist factories in South East Asia selected for each material. Design, specification and quality standards are ours. Production sits close to the major shipping lanes, so we can quote landed cost into South Africa or any international destination.

Once final designs are signed off, manufacturing takes around 60 days and sea freight a further 30 to 50 days depending on destination. We hold your specification, tooling and artwork on file, so a reorder matches the original run instead of drifting between batches.
